Art is a powerful tool for breaking down walls (especially those trapping others in echo chambers of ideology). Join me in wielding this powerful tool for social good. By donating, you add your voice to mine on some of the most critical issues of our time.

Please help make these projects happen.

  • Demonstrating that our psycho-social experiences unite us despite ideological differences.

  • Bringing the art to your community.

  • Inspire sensible gun safety discussions - installation on Pennsylvania Ave for Mother’s Day.

Listen

During a recent panel discussion, I was asked how I protected my mental health during the In America exhibitions. While decades of hospice volunteering had prepared me to hold the grief of others, nothing prepared me for the 2,000 flags I had to add each day, three-quarters of which were for people who chose not to keep themselves safe (as per Kaiser Foundation research). Afterwards, I did a deep dive into science denial to understand. I read books, talked with experts, and came to the realization that a third of our country – on both political extremes – have not become crazy or ignorant. They have actually become addicted. Addicted to political extremism.

Listen to one of my talks to learn how to help those in your life who may be venturing too close to the political edge.
